Draft, to be dated at launch
These terms explain how Yoke AI works. Yoke AI is a service from Yoke.Digital ("we", "us"). By subscribing, you ("you", "the client") agree to them. We've kept them as plain as we can.

2. Billing
- Your plan is a subscription billed monthly in advance to the payment method you use at checkout.
- If a payment fails, we may pause work until it's resolved.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
3. Minimum term and cancelling
- Every plan has a 2-month minimum term. After that it rolls monthly.
- To cancel, send a cancellation request through the Requests area of your client dashboard.
- Once the minimum term has been met, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month. If you ask to cancel during the minimum term, the cancellation is actioned after your 2nd monthly payment.
- We don't give refunds for part-months. This doesn't affect the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4. Fair use: what a request is
- Basic requests are text and image adjustments. Premium requests are new pages, new functionality and custom widgets.
- Each month, Website + SEO includes 5 basic + 2 premium requests. Website + SEO + Email and Website + SEO + Email + Google Ads include 10 basic + 4 premium requests.
- One request is one coherent change on one page or feature. See the scope guide.
- Unused requests don't roll over.
- Requests over your allowance are either queued to the next month or quoted as an optional add-on. We won't charge for an add-on unless you approve it.
- We may decline requests that are unlawful, unsafe or clearly outside the plan.
5. Turnaround
- Our targets are:
- basic requests: instant to 2–3 working days
- premium requests: up to 2–3 working days, or scheduled for bigger jobs
- These are targets, not guarantees. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
6. Support
All support, requests and approvals go through your client dashboard. We don't offer phone support or direct email support, so that every request is tracked. The one exception: refunds and cancellations can also be requested by email to dan@yoke.digital.
7. Your responsibilities
- Access by invite, never passwords. Give us access by inviting us as a collaborator, user or manager on your platforms. Never send us passwords. You can remove our access at any time.
- Timely input. Reply to questions and approvals promptly. Delays on your side may push back delivery.
- Content rights. You confirm you own or have permission to use anything you give us (text, images, logos, data). You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of your offers and claims.
- Google Ads spend. Ad spend is billed by Google directly to you. Our fee covers management only.
8. No ranking or results guarantees
Search rankings, traffic, email performance and ad results depend on factors outside our control, such as Google, competitors and the market. We don't guarantee any specific ranking, position or result.
9. Ownership
- You own your website, domain, content and accounts, including your Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Google, Omnisend and Ads accounts.
- Work we produce for you under your plan is yours once it has been paid for.
- If you leave, a WordPress site on Yoke Hosting can be migrated to you or your new host.
10. Yoke Hosting (WordPress sites)
- Yoke Hosting covers hosting, SSL, backups and updates. It's included while you're on a monthly plan; on its own it's £15 a month + VAT.
- We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Hosting is for your business website only. It mustn't be used for unlawful content, bulk email or excessive resource use.
- When your plan ends, we'll keep your site live for 14 days so you can migrate. We can migrate it for you on request.
11. Data protection
- We process personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Where we handle your customers' data on your behalf, we act as your processor and only follow your instructions.
- See our privacy policy.
12. Liability
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
- We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, revenue or data, or for third-party platforms and services.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll tell you about significant changes at least 30 days in advance through your dashboard or by email. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Yoke.Digital website builds (one-off)
New websites are built by Yoke.Digital as a separate one-off service. They aren't part of a Yoke AI plan.
- WordPress build: £400 + VAT (design, build and launch, up to 10 pages, informational/brochure site, no ecommerce). Shopify build: £750 + VAT (design, build and launch, up to 10 pages, including product pages, collections and policies). Each is a one-off fee, payable upfront or in instalments where offered, not a subscription.
- Payment options: pay in full at checkout, or pay in 2 or 3 instalments. With a payment plan, the first instalment is paid at checkout and we send a Shopify invoice for each remaining instalment, due a month apart. Instalments are interest-free and the total is the same as paying in full. We schedule your build once the first instalment is paid, and launch or hand over once all instalments are paid. If an instalment is more than 14 days overdue, we may pause work until it's paid.
-
Scope:
- design based on your brand
- a mobile-first responsive build
- core pages
- product/service setup guidance
- basic on-page SEO setup
- GA4 and Search Console connection
- domain connection or transfer
- launch checks and a short handover
- Not included: pages beyond 10, ecommerce on WordPress builds, copywriting beyond basics, bulk product imports, custom apps or integrations, paid apps, themes or plugins, and Shopify plan fees. We can quote for these separately.
-
Stages:
- Brief & intake
- Design preview (an HTML mockup in your dashboard)
- Revisions (2 rounds)
- Final approval
- Build
- Launch & transfer/handover
- Design work starts once your required intake items are in. The build only starts after you approve the design in writing using "Approve design" in your dashboard. Changes after final approval are quoted, or covered by a Yoke AI plan.
- Platforms: Shopify builds are for ecommerce (selling online). WordPress builds are informational sites (brochure and services) and don't include ecommerce functionality such as online selling, payments or WooCommerce.
-
Pages: each build includes up to 10 pages.
- A page is a unique page design or template with its own content.
- On Shopify, the product page template, collection template, cart, and the platform's policy/legal pages are included and don't count individually.
- Individual products or blog posts populated from one template don't count as pages, but bulk product imports aren't included.
- Extra pages beyond 10 are a quoted add-on.
- Each build includes 2 rounds of design revisions. Further rounds are quoted before we start.
- Timeline: your first design preview follows shortly after your intake is complete. We aim to have your site built and launched within 7 working days of your final design approval. This excludes intake and revision time, and like our other turnaround times it's a target, not a guarantee (working days as in section 5).
- Your content: you provide your content and assets (text, images, logos, product/service details). The timeline starts once we've received your onboarding answers and assets.
-
Ownership: passes to you on completion and full payment (including every instalment).
- Shopify builds: if you don't take a Yoke AI plan, we transfer the store into your ownership at launch, and you pay your own Shopify plan.
- WordPress builds: these are hosted on Yoke Hosting. Hosting is free while you're on a Yoke AI monthly plan. Otherwise it's £15 a month + VAT, billed monthly as Yoke Hosting, and you can cancel it at any time (section 10 applies).
- After launch: changes are covered by a Yoke AI plan or quoted separately.
